FAQ

  • What is Mind Body Soul Counseling?

We provide therapy/mental health services to children, teens, parents, adults, and families. People choose therapy for a variety of reasons, and here are a few examples: behavioral difficulties and emotional dysregulation, resolving the impact of trauma, coping with school, family, or work stress, managing teen dating relationships, and adjusting to divorce.

  • How long will I be in therapy?

There is no magic number that can answer this question. Each person is treated on an individual basis and the number of sessions attended depends on that person’s goals and progress. Some concerns can be addressed over a few months, while others may take longer. There is no “right” number of sessions for anyone.

  • How will I pay? Does insurance cover therapy?

We are in-network with most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans*, United Health Care/UMR and accept most Medicaid plans. We are in with Sandhills, Vaya, AmeriHealth Caritas, United Community Plan, Healthy Blue, Carolina Complete, Aetna, and Wellcare Medicaid Plans. Keep in mind that some plans require you to meet a deductible or co-pay amount. We can not accept Medicare Plans.

  • Do you have an attendance policy?

There is a $50 no show fee if your session is not cancelled within 24 hours of the session.
